Teamwork and Friendly Environment

It is very exciting taking an internship with Cultura. What excited me most was the opportunity of getting the hands on experience and real exposure in my choice of industry. Furthermore, I embrace the challenge of the internship by building my own confidence while strengthening my skills. While my time at Cultura, I have had several rewarding experiences. In particular was working with my mentor Toney Ornelas. Under his mentorship, I was able to learn different skills that I would not have in the classroom and he build my confidence by believing in me. Also, the team work and friendly environment Cultura provided the opportunity to work alongside with other leaders and motivated individuals. Overall, I feel I have grown immensely with Cultura to where I was able to attribute mentorship, learning, and networking that will be beneficial in my future career growth.

Empowered to Make Changes

I started with Cultura as a consultant. Coming from the finance industry, agribusiness was completely new and offered a challenge. However, with my background in software development, I was able to speak about the problems the company was experiencing and find a solution. I guess Cultura liked what I did because, after 4 months, I was offered a permanent role as a Senior Developer. Fast forward about a couple of years and I am now the Development Manager for Cultura’s Enterprise Group. As a manager, I really enjoy working on the cutting edge technology that the company offers. I also like that I am empowered to make changes and are given the tools to do so. So far, my most rewarding experience is that I’ve managed 3 different teams that are in 6 different time zones. It is challenging, but I am able to get all of the team members together to function as one unit. Needless to say, Cultura is a dynamic company to work for. They constantly adapt to the customers’ needs and grow within the market trends. As for the work culture, Cultura offers a great work-life balance. I would also say that Cultura is upbeat and a “Silicon Valley” type company. In fact, it is futuristic, forward-thinking, and cutting-edge.

More Career Growth Opportunities

Being a recent MBA grad, I was looking to work for a company that allows me to jumpstart my career, flourish in my future, and provide an awesome work environment. I feel Cultura Technologies has provided me that and more! It is absolutely awesome to be a part of Cultura’s community. There are several things I love about being a part of a growing and agile company. First, Cultura is always moving and shaking. The company is constantly growing and that translates to more career growth opportunities. Next, the people I work with are amazing. I look forward to coming to the office and interacting with everyone. The office environment is undeniably fun! Cultura also likes to get involved into the community where they like to be a part of different charitable events. Also, I like how Cultura promotes and instill the entrepreneurial spirit. They love to see their employees incorporate new ideas, grow, flourish, and invest in their careers. With that being said, I like the fact that Cultura makes their employees feel like a priority; something about that feeling is securing and satisfying.

Working Hard and Enjoying It

I decided to work for Cultura, because I love the transparency of our parent company, Constellation; it promotes trust in the company and provides a lot of stability. Also, when I interviewed for the position, I saw an organization that behaves like a private company that provides great decision making, superb long term planning, and the ability to move quickly. I like how Cultura offers a great balance between working hard and enjoying it. We want people who welcomes the drive to change and wants to work for a company where you are not micromanaged, can work independently and feel challenged every day!

Guiding For More Advancement

I chose to work with Cultura, because I see it as a company that will provide more opportunity for my career growth. I will be able to move into different areas within the company as my career matures. I really feel I am growing rapidly. My manager is open to having conversations with me in regards to my career plan and is guiding me on what I need to do for more advancement. Also, I love the way the employees interact. All the employees were able to get me acclimated on how the company works and provided a solid support group. They will teach you and help you learn while on the job. Cultura is also really good at handling remote workers. As a remote employee, I feel the company has a pretty good connection with us and shows a strong work-life balance. Overall, my ongoing experience with Cultura is rewarding.

#FunAtWork

Cultura’s “Toys for Tots” Toy Drive

Every holiday season, Cultura Technologies donates toys to the Marine Corps Toys for Tots charity. This holiday season was no exception. All of Cultura’s business units did their part by donating toys to children in need. Cultura was able to donate bikes, dolls, teddy bears, board games, action figures, and so much more! We’re sure that we have made many children happy with our donations. Check out Aeros' contributions! We look forward to the next holiday season to continue to make children smile.

Cultura Knows How to Have Fun!

All work and no play? Ha! Not here at Cultura. We know how to take a load off and have a great time. For the 2017 Winter Party, Cultura Alpharetta went to The Painted Pin located in Atlanta. There was plenty of fun to be had. We played games such as basketball, Skee Ball, Jenga, Shuffleboard, and Bocci. Let’s not mention how delicious the food was. Yum! The winners received fantastic prizes as well. The best prize there was the oatmeal cream cookies. I believe those are Larry K.’s favorite. Needless to say, we are definitely looking forward to our next company outing. #FunAtWork!

Cultura Spicer Donates to American Red Cross

Cultura Enterprise Group shows a great example of giving back to the community! A few employees from the Spicer, MN office donated blood to American Red Cross. While contributing to a great cause, they are now a part of the 3 million donors who donates blood to save those in need. Here is Cate M. making a contribution on behalf of the Spicer team. She rocks! #CulturaCares!

Tough Mudders

A team from Cultura Tech's Chorley office decided to take part in Tough Mudder North West on behalf of Cancer Research UK. Tough Mudder is made up of "10–12-mile-long (16–19 km) military-style obstacle courses. Participants must commit to helping others complete the course, putting teammates before themselves, and overcoming fears.” It was a huge accomplishment to have completed this physically and mentally challenging event!
